Here's a thought: instead of winning duels 20-0 use the handcap command so both you and your opponent have a more enjoyable and fair game. Let's create a more welcoming environment for newer players, and that means leaving your ego and elo at the server's entrance. LOL, who am I kidding, let's keep bashing noobs 40:0 and trash talk them so they leave because i don't need competition but do need to preserve an imaginary number, my ELO oh god ELO ELO ELO ELO hnhngingingqngoggakda my ego can't take it, I lost to a fucking noob and lost 40 elo points. How will I show how worthy I am to the elo gods now ?? I WAS ONLY 3000 ELO POINTS AWAY FROM BEING ABLE TO BUY A FERRARI!!!!!!!!!!!! Why won't anyone duel with me? WHY ISNT THE COMMUNITY GROWING, ID SOFTWARE DO SOMETHING!!!! ... ... ... ... Day 32,356: I'm trying to diversify me elo portfolio because the future of Quake Live doesn't look bright. Anyone know of any good elo investor advisor? Please i need help, how will I survive elo crash??? My children won't even look me in the eye, I feel so worthless... my wife left me 2 years ago

yeah, not bad thought. Handicap based on elo level? And another option for good duel battle that I think is good ----> both players can play on map they both don't know very good, players are in the same conditions, and everyone can enjoy the battle.
Don't know why people afraid to lose elo, even when they destroy their rating with low elo player they can return to the same level after few victories against more stronger player.
20-0 is not a bad resoult. When something like that happens with you it shows that you do something wrong, it's time to change your tactics.

ELO bullshit has done nothing good for the game, all it does is give people an excuse to whine. It's the modern mindset in video games that games aren't fun unless you have a chance to win every time. Skill improve the more you play, win or lose. You improve faster by playing better people. Like when you kick my ass,Pert
